When I think about a newborn baby, I imagine that she will do a lot of sleeping during the session.  That we will be fortunate to get some images of her awake.......but not Lylah!  Check out this wide-awake little lady.

She did not want to miss a thing!  Alert and checking out her surroundings the entire time.
                                                                   
This little yellow dress is special, too.  Lylah came home from the hospital wearing this dress.........and years ago, her mother wore the same dress when she came home from the hospital.  I just love seeing family traditions.

It was a privilege to create Lylah's first portraits.  It will be fun to watch her grow and change during her first year.
